
For this event alone the Lodge brings star gazers from around the country to steal a glimpse of nature’s wonders. Then, as the sun disappears for the day, head back to the beach and pull up one of the comfy beach lounge chairs, join others at our Community Campfire, look up to the night sky and be mesmerized by a Star-lit Light Show. Return to the Lodge for delicious Smokerlicious Dinner served on our Licensed Patio overlooking the lake. The lake is also stocked every spring with Cutthroat trout. But it gets an 'excellent' for swimming under new water. Its well worth the hike in, but considering the distance, its highly recommended to backpack.

Once you arrive at Spectacle Lake, youll be blown away by the dramatic peaks as its backdrop. With views of Petes Lake and a glimpse of the PCT along the way, the trek in is long but interesting. Enjoy a peaceful walk along the nearby 50 kms of All Purpose Trails. Spectacle Lake is home to the only Eastern Brook trout fishing on Vancouver Island. Lake Spectacle has long held the dubious distinction of having the worst water quality rating of any lake monitored in the Auckland Region. Spectacle Lake got its name for a reason. There is always something for Families to do at Spectacle Lake Lodge. With a Cool Beverage, all allowing you to let the stresses of Taking Peaceful Swim, or a Canoe, Kayak or Paddleboard outįor a Tranquil Tour around the lake and perhaps drop a lineįor a Quick Catch, to enjoying a Snack on our Licensed Patio Only a small portion of the shoreline lies within the national forest.

There are several options to access Spectacle Lake. Spectacle Lake is far less busy than the more commercialized Eagle River Chain of Lakes. Nestled at the base of Chikamin Ridge and just a short jaunt from the Pacific Crest Trail, this lake is one of the true gems of Snoqualmie Pass. Spectacle Lake Resort is in the wonderful, diverse recreation land of the Okanogan in North Central Washington, just 25 miles from the Canadian border.
